Located in downtown Seattle to the east of the waterfront, the Pike Place Market historic district covers nine acres between 1st Ave and Western Ave and Pike St. and Virginia St. The Market provides views and pedestrian access to Elliott Bay.

Pike Place is a busy and narrow street and pedestrians have the right of way. We recommend parking your vehicle in the Market garage and exploring the Market on foot.

MarketFront Parking Garage

The new MarketFront parking garage is open with 300 new underground parking spaces, covered bicycle racks and electric vehicle charging stations. Market access: Take the elevator to Level 3 for the MarketFront plaza and Level 1 for Western Avenue shops. View Map
Directions to the Public Market Garages:
Via I-5 North: Take the Madison Street exit, #164, and turn left. Follow Madison Street to Western Avenue. Turn right onto Western Avenue. Follow Western Avenue for five blocks. The entrance to the Market Parking Garage is on the left side of the street.
Via I-5 South: Take the Denny Way/Stewart Street exit, #166. Follow Stewart Street to First Avenue. Turn right onto First Avenue. Two blocks north, turn left onto Lenora Street. Turn left onto Western Avenue. Follow Western Avenue for three blocks (passing Victor Steinbrueck Park on your right). The entrances to the Public Market Parking Garage (1531 Western Ave) and MarketFront Garage (1901 Western Ave) are on the right side of the street.
